BUYING SHOES ON EBAY

eBay isn't the first thought that comes to mind when thinking of shoe shopping. But the evolution of eBay shops have led to a wide range of brand new cheap shoes becoming available - as long as you know where to look. For those who haven't got eBay accounts, the hidden gems that can be found make it worthwhile signing yourself up today.

Take this pink court shoe for example. Featured in more! magazine, it retails at just £14.99 with £1.99 postage and packaging cost. It may be just what you're looking for, but can't be found in the shops.

TOP TIPS FOR SHOE SHOPPING ON EBAY
  • Buy from eBay shops. If you're buying from a personal seller, returns are often not available whereas the majority of the shops will accept returns and exchanges.
  • Give yourself plenty of searching time. Scrolling through pages of shoes can be time consuming but definitely worth while.
  • Accept that the cheaper prices may mean you have to compromise on quality, just as on the high street. If you buy from a budget shoe store on the high street, the material won't be as great as Topshop.
  • Don't pay over the odds. Always pay less for shoes on eBay than you would in reality. If you have the choice of eBay shoes versus a shoe on the high street for the same price, go for the high street. After all, you can try on and don't have to pay for postage.
  • Type specifics into your search. If you're looking for cuffed ankle boots, type it into the search - it'll save you time and there is a good chance you'll find exactly what you want.
  • Remember that you may have to pay for postage on top of the shoe price. Use the filter 'Price + P&P: lowest first' to help you.
